First off, I was informed yesterday when I went for my appt. at the center that the owner was closing the Smyrna Center down completely. I am appalled that this is happening since the center has only been open for approximately a year. What is going on? I am so very happy attending this center and I have lost more than 28 lbs. and it is all contributed to the staff at the center that treats the patients like ""queens"" and encourages you each week on your weight loss program. I feel like I am losing my whole family. Our nurse at the center is awesome and cares about each and every one of us. I know that other clients are just as unhappy as I am about the closing and the fact that all of the staff will lose their jobs. If the owner doesn't want to keep the center open, they should let someone else take the center and make a go of it. I know that this office will be very profitable and up until recently, it was the only really good weight loss management center that we had and it still would be the only good one to join. Why, why, why are you doing this to all of us here in Smyrna? The people in East Tennessee need to help us out here in Smyrna and convince the owners to keep us going..or let someone else own the center and provide us with the top-notch care that we have been afforded so far.
