We had our sewer drain back up slightly and we thought that we just needed it cleaned so we called Gillece for the $99 cleaning, which seems pretty much a gimic to get them into your home and then insist they do more labor. They said they found that roots were blocking the line and we were in imminent danger and it needed to be taken care of asap and had us sign a contract with an emergency order attached which took away our rights to have 3 days to cancel the service. Then they came to us and said we needed to replace our whole system and they had to dig up our whole yard. Since we signed the original contract they would leave our property until we allowed them to complete the job. It was 11:30 at night and all we wanted was to sleep on the decision on whether or not to dig up our whole yard and driveway. It was obvious there was a problem that needed fixed but they hooked us with the emergency order so we did not have time to find out whether or not they were the best people with the best price. We are young and first time homeowners, and they took advantage of my inexperience.
