I went today to get a prescription for contact lenses. My insurance covers one annual routine exam, so I paid the $15 co-payment as they said, and sat down in the very crowded waiting room. After waiting for about an hour, the doctor called me in. He was great. Once I came out and another woman was meant to tell me about the options for getting contact lenses, she told me that I had to pay $50 more for the ""contact lens fitting"". When I told her that nobody had told me that, and that I just wanted a routinary exam, she refused to give me a prescription for contact lenses and gave me for eyeglasses instead. Does a prescription for contact lenses really cost $50 apart from my co-payment and insurance??? Unbelievable...
Pros: Doctors seem very good
Cons: The rest of staff are not very friendly, and sneaky
