I had to switch to AM3 because my condo building decided to switch from Comcast. AM3 has the worst customer service I've had in a very long time. I had a hi-def box installed about 2 weeks ago and it still isn't working correctly. I had a technician out twice and I still get messages saying it's looking for a satellite signal, or I can be watching a movie, only to have the video freeze and then get the audio from a baseball game. \r

The worst part of AM3 is their terrible customer service. They ""pride"" themselves on their 24 hour customer service, but all it is is an answering service..... if you can even get through. I tried calling Sunday only to find myself disconnected after going through their voice mail. This is a company that supposedly supplies internet and satellite TV service and they can't even get their answering service to work properly???? Any other times I've called, I've been on hold anywhere from 15 to 40 minutes. Either their employees aren't answering the phone, or they have an incredible amount of unhappy customers trying to call them (which speaks volumes in itself). I'm totally frustrated. I just spent $2000 on a new wide-screen hi def TV and entertainment system and I'm sitting here watching a frozen image of Kevin Costner while I'm listening to audio of a basketball game. At one time the picture (of Costner) froze and I got an error message that said the ""game"" was blacked out in my area. I actually took a picture of that screen with my phone so I could prove what was going on and that it's not my imagination. I am amazed at the extremely poor service of this company. If you can, avoid it at all costs. I NEVER had this kind of trouble with Comcast.
Pros: none that I can think of
Cons: pretty much everything
