My husband saw this woman once and refused to go back. She dismissed his complaints as trivial and refused to listen to his symptoms and instead prescribed treatment that made no sense, thereby necessitating another doctor visit with a competent dermatolgist. We provided two insurance cards to Dr. Buntin's staff. We had no further contact with this doctor or her staff until a full year later when we were contacted by an attorney's office claiming we owed $66.88, which represented our $50.00 co-pay and ""attorney's fees."" We explained that since we have two insurances, we don't usually owe anything. Long story short: Buntin claims she doeesn't ""accept"" one of our insurances, but this was never told to us. Her office input our address incorrectly in their system, so we never received her ""alleged"" 10 notices advising us of the outstanding balance. Their billing services even had my listed as ""female."" Instead of calling the attorney's office, she could have called us (like the attorney did) and we would obviously have paid the $50.00 if we had been told she didn't accept one of the insurances. We have paid the co-pay, but I WILL NOT pay for attorney's fees because this woman can't get her act together.
