This was one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered. They tried overcharging (300%) more than the estimate. When questioned why the higher cost, they were caught lying about the cost of a part. What they didn't realize was that I had already investigated the cost of these parts. The difference in cost was only $5 for this "$40.00 screw in" part, but they tried to charge an additional $200 "because the part was more expensive than estimated". C'Mon, the part estimated was $35 compared to $40 for the part they supposedly used. Worse yet, one week after this unrelated repair, the transmission seized up. Hmmm. Have to wonder. Guess that will teach me for questioning them.
