Ok, so everytime somebody tells me that they are taking me to a Mexican Restaurant (a true Mexican Restaurant) in the US (NY and Miami), I have my doubts about how Mexican can this restaurant be, and the idea of Mexican food that the people who invite me have... \r
Being that I am Mexican, of Mexican parents and with a long tradition of amazingly good cooking from both sides of my family, I would like to tell you that I was pleasantly surprised when my cousin, who lives in Miami took me to Talavera... \r
The food was true to it's name, I really felt I was 7 years old, and eating at my grandmother's kitchen in Puebla... the smells, the taste, the colors, the ambiance, the beautiful Talavera plates... everything, was out of this world... \r
So, congratulations to whoever was responsible for bringing this little piece of Mexico to Miami! \r
