Had dinner at Kaizuka from a friend's recommendation. Not pretentious at all, but still romantic at night. Not too many people know about this place it seems, but it really is a gem! This restaurant is a little way out of the center of downtown culver city, but it's definitely worth the two blocks. (I recommend parking in the structure on cardeff and watseka) They have a really great trio appetizer sampler with their original agedashi tofu, asparagus wrapped in beef and spicy tuna on crispy rice. Had the chriashi for dinner which was very fresh and delicious! My husband had the black cod for dinner and he loved it.
I live on the Westside but will definitely be making the drive down to try the rest of the menu!
Pros: romantic, ambiance, great food, friendly
