When I first visited the studio, I was most impressed by the cleanliness and state of the art heating/ventilation system. The instructors were professional and friendly and they made me feel comfortable as a beginner, among the many advanced students. At first it was difficult practicing two days a week, but I was able to go at my own pace and I saw benefits right away, which encouraged me to stick with it. I had more energy, was sleeping better and I dropped 8 pounds in first 2 months :) They have been very supportive and that’s a big part of why I enjoy going there. One instructor heard that I was trying to lose weight and added an abdominal workout to my routine - they now call me 2 pack! A great bunch of people. Oh, did I mention that my stiff neck and shoulders from sitting at a computer all day have gotten better.
I would recommend Sammamish Hot yoga to beginners or advanced students, young or old.
