Usually we can get in and get the help when we need it. My last visit on 3/11/2010 was the worst ever. The nurse practioner I saw made me feel like a Dr. shopping drug addict when I'm the furthest thing from it. She did not know me or even have my chart, then prescribed medication that can be harmful to me. At the time I had a bad migraine and wanted a refill on some pain medication for just when I had a full migraine she refused saying it was addictive, after telling her I didn't want to take meds daily she prescibed medicine to take twice daily. When I asked about the down side of this medicine she said about like Hydrocodone. This medicine caused me problems with moods and could cause me internal problems . When I called the office they said the office manager would call me and I haven't heard fromher yet. I can only assume they no longer want me for a patient, maybe because I don,t have insurance. This makes me sad because Dr. Katopes has been my main Dr.since 2000.
Pros: In 10 years I'beenable to get in when needed
Cons: long waits and indifference
