I am referring to the Lewis Center site. Building is exceptionally nice. Front staff warm and friendly but controlled by the office Manager who is very standoffish, rude and very unfriendly unless you are a CAT owner! I drove by and saw the sign. I stopped in to inquire about boarding and grooming. Again, front desk very nice, friendly and helpful....until office manager got involved. I had shot records for 1 of my dogs and not for the other. The receptionist told me should could my vet to complete the boarding. I got the majority of my paperwork completed for boarding. The office manager must have thought I left as she come out to the desk and told the receptionist that being so friendly and accommodating would cause them more work and never go the extra mile!!!!! I was in the restroom and heard EVER WORD! Long story very short...I left the building and did not show for my boarding. No fault of the receptionist...the office manager is a beast. She is obviously sick from her outward appearance and that I take sympathy on that but acting out and encouraging her staff to be as standoffish as she is, to not work for the customer is not good business practice. I will never go back to the Lewis Center location ,that is for sure. I am now a bit leery of HEALTHY PETS as a whole. Is this their company QA? Is this how they train everyone? Is that standard business practices? If my first experience is not pleasant I assure you I will not repeat my business.....such is the case here. Boarding is high, shot visits higher than other vets in the area, vaccinations higher than any vet in a 3 mile radius, unfriendly management (I think she said her name was either Wendy or Mindy).......not somewhere I will entertain doing my business with. anon Pros: Nice buildings Cons: Way too many to count more
