Wished I knew of this site to publicly whine about this outfit when this happened... about 2 years ago.\r

They seemed nice enough.\r
And troubleshot to the failed component.\r

But instead of replacing with the correct voltage regulator (which I ended up easily getting from McIntosh) they jerry-rigged a small under-rated regulator TO-22 type where it should have had the much larger TO-3 can type.... so of course soon failed.\r

Now what really fries me, was they told me they were waiting for the factory part (why it took so long) and charged for the factory part. \r

As an electronic tech (not audio), was hoping to farm out some personal chores as I'm busy. Apparently we just gotta do everything ourselves to keep from getting screwed.\r
