I saw something on Food Network about fried shrimp heads and decided to see if they made them and try the new restaurant at the same time. I was told that they normally only came with the raw (sweet) shrimp but they would make them for me anyways. The menu was over priced but the decor was nice and so I added to my order. The small Saki was about the price of a large in normal restaurants. The sushi rolls came stuck together with the loose end that should have been cut off and so not a good sushi presentation. When the check came they charged me 5.00 for two shrimp heads! I questioned it but they didn't change the bill. They just said that I should have ordered the shrimp cooked another way, but that's not what I was told and it was never offered. The Miso soup came out of a packet. You can tell if you know your Miso. I told them that I wouldn't be back, but what they don't understand for a new restaurant is that for over a 3.00 difference in shrimp/heads, my professional friends won't go there either.
Pros: The option for Dungeness in their sushi rolls
Cons: Price vs quality and presentation
