This is a pretty, pretty restaurant. The location is good too. Front of house staff are great!
Kitchen, however, needs to step up. The roasted winter veggie salad was awful, veggies were not roasted they were darn near raw. Flavorless cheese on top. It should be served on a plate not in a bowl. Raviolis were inedible and the tomato ragout thin and drowned in garlic, I sent the whole mess back and had the Salmon, and it was delicious even though on the precipice of overdoneness. The polenta cake was lovely. My Husband's braised beef had great flavor but was overcooked, the scalloped potatoes had a lovely texture but were bland. The Brussel sprouts were brilliant! The chocolate cake was apparently baked last week and sat in a dry corner until served to us. Also inedible. Does anyone taste this stuff before it goes out? This place has potential but whoever is monitoring quality control needs a swift kick in the drawers.
Pros: Great front of house staff, pretty restaurant
Cons: food was weak
