Worked with Mr. Brubaker one year ago after listening to an interview with him on NPR. Think 3-card monte - he appeals to ones ego (already in bad shape because of unemployment), hints at the employment opportunities that are available for such a great person, and promotes his resume-writing services - $700. For the three months that I worked with him, he did not make one single deadline - deadlines that he set, and only after repeated calls and reminders did he produce a canned response that was created in a word-processing format that made it nearly impossible to alter or correct. And yes, taking my resume, he managed to introduce numerous typos and factual errors that required rather extensive editing. Sadly, he catches us at a very vulnerable moment and takes full advantage. When I registered my complaints, he did refund half of the fee...but still pocketed $350 for a couple of hours of chat and about one hour of find and replace. For $100+/hour, not close to worth it. Stay away. Buy a book. Talk to a friend...
Pros: Nice office
Cons: Very poor service
