I had read the reviews before I went and I must admit I was a little hesitant but my mom and I happened to be in the area and decided to give it a whirl. We walked in without an appointment and they did agree to take us which I thought was a good start. The selection there was great but they were definitely pricey. I tried on maybe 6 or 7 dresses and really did love one of them. The older woman (who I can only assume was the owner) became very very pushy. She repeatedly told me about the first visit purchase incentive ($200 off a veil or any other accessory). I had to tell her about half a dozen times that I would not be purchasing that day as my brother was buying my dress and I would have to come back with him. At one point she actually cornered me IN the dressing room while I was wearing nothing but my thong and bustier to try to pressure me in to it. I politely told her for the 7th time that I would not be buying the gown that day and to please hand me my clothes so that I could get dressed. I did not end up going back to French Bridals. I fell in love with a different dress at Bella Sera Bridal in Danvers which by the way has an AMAZING staff. I definitely would not recommend French Bridals to another bride.
