Very unprofessional and terrible customer service! 2/7/2010

I had boarded my dog there over the weekend because i heard from a sourceb that Great Valley Pet Hotel was one of the cheaper pet hotels available. My dog was on medication for an ear infection and I was told by the manager at the desk that my dog would be in good care and they have a expierenced staff working there that give meds to the dogs that are boarding. When I went to pick him up during the week I was ignored for about 10 minutes while the front desk manager did paper work and answered the phone while I stood there. I understand if it was busy but I was the only customer in the building and generally people say somthing to you so you know your being helped. After the delay I received my dog and first thing I noticed was his ear was inflammed. It had looked like no one was giving him the medication I had left with GVPH. Then I come to find out they lost his ear meds and no one could tell me where they went??? The front desk was rude about it and very unhelpful and bascially telling me that they might have used it all up! It was a full bottle (expensive) and theres no way it would have been empty! The customer service was awful and made me feel like it was MY fault. The staff consisted of kids and obviously VERY unexpierenced! I will NEVER board my dog there again and i hope this review helps others as well. more
