A superb menu of provincial French cooking--\r
We have never been disappointed with this fine restaurant that has moved two blocks to the heart of Coral Gables. The dishes we had the night before last included a very delicate and fresh-tasting fillet of sole, a tender fillet mignon in a sumptuous green pepper sauce, separate dishes of veal kidney (rognon) in a creamy mustard sauce, on the one hand, and a delightful port with mushroom sauce on the other. The main courses come with a fresh green salad on a flavorful mustard vinaigrette. Some of us started with a French onion soup, not salty and with a topped with a perfectly broiled cheese in classic fashion. And, we could not resist the chocolate/banana crepe with brandy flambe. We chose a nice, inexpensive bottle of Bordeaux from their reasonably priced list. While the service is entirely without pretense, the staff was attentive from start to finish.
