I took a feral kitten I had trapped to La Plaza last week. This was one horrific experience. When I went to pick the kitten up, Sheryl brought the cat carrier out to me and set it down. I looked down and the kitten didn't seem right. I asked over and over, "Is this kitten okay, is he sleeping, etc" and no one bothered to pay attention or answer me. I finally opened up the carrier and when I reached in, the kitten was cold and stiff. He had been dead for some time. It is still shocking even as I write this. \r

He was feral, but I was still paying full price and his little life was important to me. I own and run an animal service business and realize things can go wrong with animals, but the level of neglect that no one even checked on this kitten horrifies me. La Plaza refunded the cost of the neuter, not the vaccination cost, but nonetheless, I didn't want the money, only the kitten.
