It is amazing how hard it is to find a family owned optical store anymore. Between WalMart and Sears and JCPenney and their optical departments, no one is in the business anymore, especially in the San Fernando Valley. That is why I was very impressed with Slava and his store. That personal, I really care about the customer feel is still alive and well. He was a real gentleman, helped me on a Saturday afternoon, and I can't help but think maybe that is the one thing that that small business owner will always make him succeed over the big store guys. You have to visit!
