I have been with charter for years now and they are just terrible. The technicians and telephone staff are well trained to sell you stuff you don't need. They say things like ""Would you like to double your internet speed for free!?"" or ""would you like to lower your bill by 10$ a month and get a whole bunch of stuff for free?"" (the list goes on and on) and I would be like eh ok why not... then a few months later BAM my bill goes up $30-$50 or sometimes even more. They only give quotes BEFORE taxes and the taxes are more than 20$ a month regardless of what you spend so you end up spending $130 + on the 109$ bill. This is what they say is the lowest I can go with both the slowest internet and most basic TV, I had to get a bunch of excess services I have not ever used used along with it I am under contract that costs $150 to break and they wont budge on the fee when the salesperson specifically told me if I was dissatisfied with my services then I wouldn't get stuck with the fee! It is very misleading! I only had one good experience with them when two service guys came out to my house and installed a new box which I or most other people in this country could do and they waived the installation fee for some reason. All other times I had to pay ridiculous fees for a couple of bafoons to come out to my apartment for over an hour to just change faulty boxes. One time they even let my cats out and I couldn't find them for a long time I was pissed off. If I had another option I would get something different but my complex wont allow any modifications to the exterior...
