We received a service for our 91 year old family member from this office in regards to a Chase Bank account. The person, and I say person because I dont know if he is really an attorney, stated to us that in order to validate the service we had to submit in writing a request for proof. When we asked how we were supposed to get the request in writing to them via mail or hand delivery and have an answer filed by the deadline he stated ""if our client is never going to get the money because of the health issues of your family member then why does it matter so much if a judgment is filed?"". I was devistated that someone could be so hurtful and rude. We wanted to get this taken care of and make sure the debt was valid and then to get a response like this?! \r
We will be filing an answer and also reporting this to the Utah State Bar and to any news media that we can to bring this to the attention of the public and also their client Chase Bank for going after a fridged old man who does not know yesterday from tomorrow.
