i worked for franks restaiurant when i was in high school, back in 1971. pizza and pasta sauces were the best then.. got married, moved out of state. came back to dine at franks in 2000. the chairs were the same. but they were rickety. we hasd to switch to a booth for fear a chair would callapse . but the pizza and pasta sauces were just as great as they were in 1971. i'm planning to come to michigan for our 40th year high school reunion and we plan on going to franks. we like our pizzas greasy. it means they use the real cheeses, not like the chain pizzerias. we like the pepperoni to curl up when it bakes. that's the great quality stuff. i heard frank died. sorry to hear this. does anyone know if tony is still making the pizzas, and if veronica is still there helping him? i got a pizza from a place here in oklahoma city and the cheese wasso fake it couldn't melt when it was baked. that was the only time we got a pizza from that place. we have been out of michigan living since 1993. we haven't found any pizzeria whose pizzas are great, like franks. franks is still our favorite restaurant for pizza and pastas. the old waitress, sally, was mean to me when i worked there in 1971, and she was just as cold when we came to franks in 2000, while in michigan. the rickety chairs and the mean old waitress won't stop us from going to franks every time we come home to visit. we'll just get a booth. and a different waitress. frank's food is perfecto
