I have used Dr. Richards for over 25 years. He has treated my great danes, a feral cat from our deer lease I brought home at a week old who is still kicken after 15 yrs and loyal house pet, nearly all my livestock(goats, cows ect.) My grandmothers pysco rottweiller, as long as I was there and he was muzzled. Right before Hurricane Ike, He stitched up my pygmy billie goat that was attacked by stray dogs that had gotten in our yard then 4 months later he diagnosed his broken front leg with out an exra charge 60 bucks for office visit and meds and he ( the goat )was back harrassing dogs 3 weeks later. All this despite his gruff "you know I don't work on livestock no more....( as he turns around and walks towards an exam room as he says come on girl get him in here.) I was deeply saddened by his death a few weeks ago. Dr. Richards was a incredibly smart man. Yes he told it like it was.
