The room was so filthy that I wanted to burn my luggage when we got home.
Furthermore, I requested the front desk staff assistance in documenting a racial discrimination incident that could have easily lead to hate crime at a 711 location next to the hotel. The man I spoke with at the desk was not willing to assist me even though I was just asking for the store information and maybe a phone call to get the 711 employee name that verbally abused us. The Riviera staff claimed that he could not do anything about it, not even a phone call on my behalf.
When a second incident again racially motivated took place, this time within the hotel food court, they asked me to fill a comment form. This being the best they could do after I was required to make a scene in front of other hotel guests.
Absolutely ridiculous the way they treat their guests. They made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them. I would never go back to Vegas. If I have to, I Will pay more money to stay at a better hotel where I feel that the staff make an effort to make me feel safe.
