Making an appointment is not easy, however, the first scheduled time we arranged I had a day off from work. He was prompt and got right to work. He seemed to know what he was doing, however, he was not very friendly. My mother was visiting at the time and she even said as much after he left. He made partial repairs which rendered my Frigidaire stove partially unusable and said that he needed to order parts which should arrive ""in a couple of weeks."" He called me twice and I was unable to get back to him, so on his third call I answered and apologized for not returning his calls. I asked if he could come out next weekend because I am a single girl working from 9 to 5 and can not take time off (especially the way jobs are these days) to get my stove repaired. After going around a couple of times and me trying to offer alternative times, he proceeded to fly off the handle at me and literally say - verbatim - ""I'm so sick of people like you who think you're so much more important or better than anyone else and that 'we' should work around you and your schedule. You honestly expect me to work after working hours for YOU??"" I was appalled. I immediately profusely apologized and tried - very calmly - to say that I needed him to return and finish the job he started to which he told me that he would not be back to finish the job and would be returning my parts and to ""call Frigidaire."" That was pretty much all he'd keep on saying to anything I asked him. I begged him over and over, even saying I was trying to be kind and professional to him, to let me know what work he has already done so I can let a new service person know. He refused to tell me what work he performed and what parts, if any, he had ordered for me. When I kept asking he kept trying to talk over me and all I could hear him saying was, ""BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH . . "" which I could not believe I was hearing. It sounded like a 12 year old kid on the other end of the line. He kept repeating for me to call Frigidaire and that he would NOT come out and finish the job. Everything he said was in an extremely mean and abusive tone, very very hostile and almost crazed. \r \r So I am left now in the lurch with a partially working stove which cost me over $2,000 purchase price. This man is completely unstable and I would not allow him in my home again. I would advise that you call another company. more
