I took my 3-year old daughter to the Texas MedClinic in the Forum because she was exhibiting sudden, severe symptoms; vomiting, high fever (102-103), chills & shaking, loss of appetite, fast heartbeat, malaise, coughing. After he examined her tonsils, he proclaimed--""they don?t look too bad""--he had his nurse perform a strep test. The strep test came back negative. He nonchalantly passed us off with, ""it must be a virus"". He provided no explanation, further tests, and suggestions for care or prescription medications. He spent all of 1-2 minutes with her during the entire 2-1/2 hour duration of the visit.
