In Lagrange on Business, we stopped by the Irish Rover Too, highly recommended by a friend. Atmosphere was cozy and traditional, family-friendly. Wait-staff friendly and attentive. The food was the star of the show. We had Ploughman's plate as an appetizer, which consisted of cheeses, thinly sliced sourdough and wheat bread and fruit.
I had the fish & chips and my husband had fish cakes with mashed potatoes (just like I make at home) and steamed cabbage with carrots and broccoli. Both meals were perfectly cooked. The beer-battered fish was crispy and had more flavor than any I've ever had. The fish cakes were delicious, the steamed vegetables still crunchy.
We will definitely return. Lagrange has a treasure in the Irish Rover Too!
