I bought a woodstove in 2006 for $1,700 and experienced back puffing shortly afterward. Ash Away suggested purchasing and installing their stainless steel liner for another $800 to correct the back puffing so I did. The back puffing continued and I continued to ask for a solutions which they could not provide. I recently called again (Sep 2010) and talked to Adam who was unable to provide solution so I figured I would visit the store with the hope of a solution to the back puffing. I made the trip to Ash Away (Oct 2010) and was told nobody could help me because everybody was in a meeting in the other room. I provided my name and number to the clerk who wrote it down saying somebody would get back to me. Nobody called back so I went to another business who was able to diagnose the back puffing to a clogged fountain asembly on the phone in 15 minutes. My stove now works fine with no thanks to Ash Away. Their customer service is the worse after purchase. Go else where!!! more
