I've been with Dave's Auto Service for a long time, since they were at Milwaukee Street. I got my car right next door from their associates, and at that time Dave's Auto was even smaller.
Something that I remember from the first thing I went in to Dave's is that when he gave me a loaner car he got in and started the car for me like a real gentlemen. After all these years that act has really stuck with me.
I have a 1991 car. He has made parts for it, and had others make parts, because many of the parts for the car don't exist anymore. He figures out what could be wrong and then fixes it, which is not easy with a 1991. I still have that car.
Dave's Auto has been very fair. He gets me in, and if I need a ride he will get it for me. He has also gotten me a tow truck. I had a roommate for awhile, and I got her to go there too. I like Dave and his place a lot.
He treats me with respect, which is very good, and he listen to what I say. He does the work in a very timely manner, and has fair prices. He rides his bike to work and then fixes cars; I think that is funny.
