I had a scheduled a hair trim and new color dye at canela spa in the bronx. The customer service that i received from the stylist and her assistants was great especially since i had to bring my one year old daughter to the salon with me. But despite that I had TWO major issues with this salon, which was that my new color came out unevenly, and their solution to this was for me to set up another appointment for a wash and set (which i would have to pay for) and they will correct my color then. The other major issue is that I was originally quoted a price two weeks ago ($85) for all the services that i needed, and when it came time to pay my bill was $100 and i DID NOT get all services that I needed all i got was my hair dyed (and that came out wrong). Also lady at the counter could not find my gift card and told me that it was invalid. After i insisted that i had never used my gift card and to continue looking (for 10mins) then she suddenly found my gift card number and at that moment informed me since i have had my $44 gift card for over a year that the balance had been reduced to $34. I left the salon feeling hood winked, i dont think i will ever return. more
