To be brutally honest, this is the worst Dr. I have ever seen or heard of in my life. It disgusts me that a Doctor would thinks its okay to treat patients the way he does. I have been dealing with back problems since I was 9, I am now 22 years old. I was referred to Dr. Schooley from my pain management clinic. This man did surgery on my and I have not even him for more than 5 minutes. This is not a joke and I am not exaggerating. During the consultation he did not look at my MRI or my X-rays, he sound it sounded like a disc problem and asked if I wanted surgery, being STUPID I said yes, because I wanted the pain to go away, he then walked out of the room. So literally he said ""Well it sounds like a pretty bad disc, is surgery something you're willing to do?"" and then left. I did not see him before or after the surgery when i was at the hospital, and the 2nd part of the surgery (which was a month later) was supposed to be outpatient-again I didn't see him before or after- when i woke up from it, I was in such bad pain that I was balling my eyes out and I told them something had to be wrong. Dr. Schooley would not come to see me, instead his PA (Jennifer) CALLED my room and said I needed to get over it, that I was supposed to be hurting because I just had back surgery! Again NOT an exaggeration! I has been almost a year since the surgery, and he has never called for a follow up or to see how I was doing. And now I am worse than ever, and almost to the point where I can't do any activities or even play with my son. This man was supposed to help me, and instead made me worse, and he could care less about it! He makes me sick, please do not see this doctor!!!!!
