I called Dr. Westfall's office to schedule an appointment and confirm that they accepted my insurance. The appointment itself was pleasant enough, though I was surprised at the time that they did not run my insurance card during the visit-- most dentists do.
About a month after the appointment I received an invoice for services that should have been covered at 100%-- Dr. Westfall's staff had lied to me about taking my insurance. I thought that once I explained that I had specifically asked and provided my insurance information that they would cut me a break, but they were so miserably short of understanding that I was floored.
I agree with the other review about Dr. Westfall only caring about her bottom line. I had a pleasant enough experience there until the billing problems started-- at which time her office staff became quite hostile. They explained that only the Dentist could decide if they would foot the bill for their mistake, but she couldn't take the time to call me and discuss her decision. The only time the office called me back after this problem was to ask me when I wanted to make an appointment for my next cleaning-- ha!
Pros: nice facility, pleasant visit
Cons: billing woes and lies!
