Went there tonight to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. A friend reccommended it so we gave it a try. Had reservations, though none were needed since the place was 3/4 empty. Even with all the space they set us by the walkway right next to the kitchen. My hubby said I should have said something since it didn't bother him. My thinking is that is the worst table in any restaurant and why would they use it when they aren't busy? Nothing like hearing ""order up"" and pots clanging every few minutes.... The bread tasted stale and just olive oil (no basalmic or spices) to dip it in - very blaugh even after adding salt and pepper... ordered the pear salad and hubby had the spinach - they were okay, nothing special. I had the beef tenderloin and lobster which were both well prepared, mashed potatoes were fine, the veggies were great. Hubby had the beef gorganzola which was well prepared but salty. Might have been from the gorganzola or from the panchetta that was wrapped around the tenderloin. We've had a similar dish at Grazie's that was sooo much better. Didn't have dessert because we were both full and had a dessert I made at home. I don't think we'll go back - if I want to spend this kind of money and want Italian I'll go to Grazies where I know the food has flavor and I've never been put by the kitchen even when they are busy.....
Pros: waiter was good, food was okay
Cons: pricey, bread sucked
