I've eaten at Liberty Valance since it opened in 1976. They have always had decent food at reasonable prices. They have always had a smoking section. However, when the ""no smoking"" law went into effect in December they chose to ignore the law and simply posts signs allowing people to continue smoking and warn people to enter at their own risk. The restaurant is now a smoker's haven and the second hand smoke is unbearable. If the practices that are in place at Liberty Valance are legal and this is all that is necessary to step around the ""no smoking"" law, then our legislators have wasted their time and the law is a joke! I've eaten at Liberty Valance for the last time.
Pros: Decent food; reasonable price
Cons: Way too smokey
