In the past we have dined three or four times each summer at the Beachmoor. The food is passable and the portions are small but the view from the deck is wonderful. Each time we call for reservations, if we ask for 6:30 on the deck they we say they only have 6:00 available. If we ask for 7:00, they only have 6:30. Yet we have been seated at 6:30 and at 7:00 less than half the tables on the deck are occupied. The last time we called for 6:30 and were told they could seat us at 6:00 on the deck. When we arrived the owner tried to show us to another section and we told her we had requested the deck. She said that she did not have it down on her reservation sheet but if we wanted to have a seat at the bar that maybe someone would not show up and she would be able to seat us on the deck!! We left and told her we would not be back. \r

Earlier in the summer, when my daughter was looking into beach front wedding venues, I told her to call the Beachmoor. She said that when she called to inquire the owner told her that if she had looked on their website she would have found all the information. She said she was very abrupt and rude and she did not feel she could deal with her. I am so thankful, after reading the previous comments about the dreadful wedding experience at the Beachmoor, that she did not pursue it. This woman does not have a clue about customer service. I’m glad to see, after reading the numerous online comments here and at other sites, that I am not the only one who feels this way.\r
Pros: Wonderful view
Cons: THE OWNER
