Bad service from this business 9/25/2009

I took my lawn mower to Mableton Lawn Mower & Go-Cart Shop be repair in June after I tuned up my lawn mower myself. I needed to get my carburetor cleaned and tuned-up.\r \r To make a long story short. I took my lawn mower back there in today (September 25th) because it has not being getting the power it needed as before. I understand clearly on their receipt that they have a 30 day warranty on tune-up work. I spoke with one of the small engine mechanics who was not in uniform and had a bad attitude from the beginning when I explain what my problem was. \r \r I stated to him that I wanted him to look at my mower because he did the repair on the mower and was told the same mechanic had to look at it. I wanted him to tell me if it was the carburetor or was it another problem. Basically to give me a ""check and advise"". He automatically went to the 30 day warranty and told me he was not going to do the work for free and that I should have brought it back when I first notice the problem. I them told him that the lawn mower was only used twice. He told me that was not his fault and they have a 30 day warranty. He was very defensive about the quality of work performed on my lawn mower. Because of the exchange I had with this young man, I spoke to the OWNER of the business who was outside and explain the rude behavior of his employee. \r \r I tried to explain my situation to the OWNER about his employee and I simply wanted the mechanic to advise me of the repair I needed to my mower. He (the owner)looked at the receipt and automatically stated it was outside the 30 days and ""WHY DIDN'T I BRING IT BACK WHEN I NOTICE THE PROBELM (in a rude tone)?"" I told him,"" that I am not a lawn mower guy and I didn't think the lawn mower was powering properly, so I'm bring it back now to see that the problem is"". I told him that I did not like his tone and it was no need to raise his voice when I haven't raised mine. I told him that I see where his employees get their customer service skills from because he was way out of line. I simply wanted a check and advise and to make sure the carburetor was not the issue since they did this repair on my mower. \r \r Lastly, to end my story or complaint. The OWNER said that I'm not going to let him look at it or repair it since you think I had an attitude. I was shocked, but I took my mower and put it back it my truck. Mableton Lawnmower & Go-Cart Shop is not the only repair shop in or around Atlanta. This guy (owner) thought he was doing me a favor or he is the best in town....please!\r \r I took my lawn mower to another small engine shop and guess what.....the mechanic stated that the carburetor was not repair properly the first time.!!!!!! \r \r This business is very junkie and not very professional. The young lady working the service counter was the ONLY nice employee there! The owner and the mechanics are rude and the quality of their is POOR!\r \r I would look around before I take any small engine equipment to this business. They do not stand behind the quality of their work and they are defensive about you questioning their work. Cons: Junkie business & bad service more
