I purchased a rug and curtains 3 1/2 months ago for several thousand dollars (100% due up front). My curtains were to be done in 1 month. When 3 months went by and the drapes had yet to be completed to the order specifications, I grew leary of the store and its owner. I asked for proof that my rug had even been ordered (like a dated copy of the order they placed to the rug company). The response week after week was ""the rug is on the loom in India."" The owner would never give me any concrete information on the delivery date. This was a simple request as the rug company is US based. 3 weeks past the supposed shipping date, I finally had to send a certified letter requesting proof that the rug had ever been ordered. He, of course, could not provide me with this. I truely believe he had no intention of providing me with the rug that I ordered. This is stealing. I am not sure how a store like this continues to conduct business, as the other postings show similar experiences. Learn from my mistake. Do not do business with this store.
