I've been a loyal customer for years. Like, 20+ years. Called today to get a small part for my freezer, to order it from the store by phone and pick it up. I found the part # online. Very simple. Apparently not so simple for Turnpike Appliance. They told me I had to come in. I don't have time and this is not rocket science. He told me he had a lot of people waiting and I needed to come in. I said I just wanted to get it from them vs. ordering it online. He said I have to pay shipping anyway. I don't mind but by now I got the message that I was being blown off. Service? A joke.
Pros: They can help ... if they choose to.
Cons: They don't choose to if it's not convenient.
