I love Armondo's! I've only been going here for the last year or two. I only live a couple of blocks away. I'm not that crazy about their menu selection as most of it is simple, easy type of dishes you can probably make at home but I mostly come here for their specials! Especially their fish specials. I wish they would change up their sauces as they only offer tomato sauce (which is disgusting, worse than Ragu), their white (alfrado okay), or olive oil and garlic. The service is top notch. Waiters are pretty attentive most of the time although sometimes it can be a little bad. I enjoy their dessert (italian cheesecake) and their cappucianos. The prices are decent. The drinks are okay. I enjoy their wines (very small list). All in all, this is a decent Italian restaurant in a area where its dominated by Spanish restaurants everywhere you go and several Indian restaurants across the street. What can you expect? Not the best Italian food I ever had but very decent for the area that it is in.
Pros: Service, Specials
Cons: Lack of variety, tomato sauce
