I went in to take advantage of the cash for clunkers deal, and I found a car at a price I liked and we signed a 'conditional contract' 'conditional' meaning, if my lender approved the financing. Well, I put my down-payment down and 2½ weeks later it hasn't cleared my account. So I call to find out why, and they say it's probably in processing, then I call on day 2 to my salesman and he says that they're probably still checking on different lenders, then I finally call on the third day and demand answers.\r

Well, apparently on Tuesday (the day after the program was exhausted) they decide to tell me that I wasn't approved and that I would need a co-signer (who I had with me when I signed the conditional agreement) Also, my car wasn't approved for the clunkers deal because there was a 2 week lapse where I was late on registering it (admittingly my fault). However, I brought this to their attention before I left the building and they assured me that it would be ok and I need not worry about it, the sales manager even told me that if it was a problem they would just eat the cost (which I should have got in writing.) They then try to give me a slight discount, but not the $4500. And explain that they arent held accountable if CARS.GOV didn't pay them. Which it clearly states that they are. And they used the 'Conditional Contract' as their crutch which says nothing about the trade in or cash for clunkers on it, just referencing the financing which I can take care of. Either way I'm fed up with them and I'm getting my car back and buying from CARMAX who I hear good things about :) AND IT WON'T BE A DUMPY KIA.\r

I can't believe I had to give them a 1 star. None Star should be an option.
Pros: Cheap Car
Cons: Cheap Service, Attitude, and Morals
