I was rear-ended in a car accident. I went for physical therapy at another provider. Their evaluation of my condition was extremely superficial. I was ‘treated’ in a huge room with many other people. I had no privacy at all. The staff was so busy chatting and shouting across the room to each other that they didn’t pay attention to my treatment. The workers were all quite young and were too busy having fun on the job. They spent a lot of time making me do exercises which I could have done at home. Consequently, they only did manual therapy on my neck and back for 15 minutes. This was performed while I was seated in a chair rather than lying down. That was wrong since it hurt to hold my head up. I quickly dropped them after three sessions and found my way to Tanas Physical Therapy (at their Raleigh office).\r

Nabila Tanas had me complete many pages of forms detailing every ache and limitation I had. Her examination uncovered multiple problems that the other facility completely missed! Her professionalism, experience, and competence was apparent from the very first visit. She performed soft tissue, pressure point therapy, and electrical stimulation that finally began to help my condition. If any part of my therapy was conducted by her knowledgeable assistant, she still checked in on me. It was never a case of being handed off to some poorly trained subordinate. Everyone listened carefully to my issues, my preference for deep stimulation, etc. The entire staff took a personal interest in my case and I knew I was in great hands. Aside from the medical treatment I received, they provided insight into how my claims should be filed since this was the result of an accident. \r

I cannot say enough good things about Tanas Physical Therapy. Receiving such intensive and individualized care in this day and age is unheard of! I wish someone had told me about them before I wasted time and money at that other facility.\r
