Where should I begin with this club... When I initially went in to sign up I was told that I would have a 30 day trial period to decide if I would want to continue my membership. I gotta tell you this was the selling point for me because it sure wasn't the membership dues. I pay 43.99 a month, which is the most I have ever paid for any gym. Well after 2 weeks I realized that this was not the place for me and I did not want to contiue with the membership, I called to let them know, I spoke with the manager ( jason), who was pretty nasty, he told me to read my contract. Come to find out you only have 10 days. Yes, I accept that I should have read my contract, but I took the word of the girl who sold me the membership. I called the corporate office to file a complaint about the sales practice and nothing was done. To this day that girl is still working there. Also, they failed to mention that if you wish to take any classes, this to is extra. 20.00 per class. You must pruchase a card for 10 workouts. You can not mix and match classes. If you want to take spin, that's one card, Step, this is another card. Shouldn't classes be included with your membership as they are with any other gym in this area??? The equipment isn't exactly up to date, cardio machines are always broken and it takes a while to get them fixed. There is water leaking from the ceiling all over the gym. I know someone else who goes to this gym and while he was taking a shower someone decided to borrow his shoes to go and workout in. He went and looked for this guy and sure enough, he was upstairs working out in this guys shoes, do you think managment did anything about this guy, sure didn't, he is still a member even though he helps himself to others personal property. On more than one occasion I have had my car vandalized, I now have two matching dents on my car that has come from parking in the lot. I have heard from mutilple people that they have had their cars broken into. Bally's knows of this and their solution is to post a note in the locker room. Not to hire a securtiy guard or invest in camera's but to post a note. Thanks for the look out guys!!! If you have ever seen the commercial it states that you can use your membership at any other club if you are out of time.. Not so quick, this to is untrue, I was out of town for a week in a different state, went to go and use the Bally's there and was told that I could not because I had the platinum membership and that it did not allow for me to use a different gym. I can not stress enough how much you need to run away from this gym. I have been lied to from the beginning and can not wait for my membership to be up. I only go because I pay for it each month. Oh and the customer service, HORRIBLE!!!!! I called to ask about the hours one day, got the new manager on the phone ( Ursala or something like that) she did give me the hours but she asked me if I was a member, I said yes and she hung up on me. I guess once you are trapped into a contract they want nothing to do with you. I hope this helped your decision in not joining this gym. I am sure I am not the only one who has had issues. Go to GOLD""S, PLANET FITNESS, WARINGS, INLET, POWERHOUSE, just go anywhere but here!!! You will be glad that you did!!!
