I came from Chicago and now reside in Dekalb,IL. I went to Bethany to see what they could do about a ear infection my cat had (strictly indoor animal). Although the staff was somewhat courteous and knowledgeable, I felt the "attitudes" they presented were cold and overly professional almost distant. This and the addition of a HIGH COST made me think this place was something smiler to a Chicago North Shore Vet then a small city vet. Also I felt they were "fishing" for other things wrong with my animal and pointed out his teeth needed to be cleaned ($900 extra) I didn't ask for this (it was Like I went to get my car repaired and they find all these 'other things' wrong), And even though I didn't want the procedure yet had to sign a waiver saying so. HUH?? What kind of nonsense was that? In short, Impersonal, Fishy and COSTLY. Bottom line is Money at this place. Nothing like my last vet who was reasonable (ironic as they were in Chic) and cost effective. They also had a payment
