WDD and these other mass market jewelers are a joke. The latest ad from WDD and Shane talks about ""vast selection."" What a pile. Any smaller independant jeweler will give you more personalized service, a better selection (the band I selected for my wife was out of a 900 page book of bands you can select from) and the diamonds are of way better quality. So not only can you pick your own band, but setting AND diamond as well rather than some junk pulled out of a display case. I know all about the ""C's"". WDD's markup is huge. I paid just over $3000 for my wife's ring and the clarity is phenominal. It was appraised at just under $5k. And no, I have no ties with the jewelery industry, I'm just saying don't rely on these guys for a diamond you'll end up sorry for. WDD is nothing but a ripoff, but hey, you get a free soda, right...
