As a Texas who has ""specialized"" in real bbq (smoked meats - not grilled) for over 50 years, I am pleased to report that Big Lou has mastered the smoking process for his meats, especially the brisket. Great smoked taste which requires no sauce (although his sauce is excellent). I ate recently at Sonny Bryans in Dallas (which is known throughout the bbq world), and Lou's smoked brisket was better. We also love his pulled pork and fried okra. Deserts are quite good also. We are fortunate to have some really good real Texas BBQ in the area.
Pros: Great smoked brisket
