We lived in a Block and Assoc rental for a year now. The condition of the house upon move in was terrible. The paint had been retouched and the colors didn't match properly, so there were patches of paint all over the house. Also, the carpet was badly stained. Several things happened during our stay where we needed service. It would take 3, 4, 5 calls and several weeks/months for the issue to be fixed.
Now we are trying to move out. We are trying to contact Emily or Candace in their Property Management team to figure out what we need to do, how to handle the carpet cleaning, etc, and they are completely unresponsive. We are trying to avoid being screwed out of our deposit, because they use ""Dave's Carpet Cleaning""...who is quite a bit more expensive than everybody else we call and who badmouths every other business.
Our total experience with Block and Associates was terrible from beginning to end, but we needed a place to live ASAP, so we ended up paying for desperation. Try to avoid Block and Associates.
