I don't know about taxes, but beware if you are interested in leasing at one of their properties. We have had constant issues with repairs, they generally don't care, and are more concerned with remodeling the empty apartments to attract renters. Rather than fix the problems, they make half efforts to seem like they are fixing the problem(s). That way, if something is taken to court, they can say that they ""attempted"" to eradicate the problem/issue. Most of the time when phone messages were left, the receptionist was rude, and everyone was conveniently ""not available."" Very poorly run company, they do not communicate well with tenants. I would urge and advise you to tread with caution, unless you like bad property management and are prepared to wait weeks on end for repairs.
