I have been to hundreds of Italian restaurants in Connecticut plus I was raised on my Grandma from Sicily's home cooking and Fredos beats them all. All the food is home made with fresh ingredients and flavorful herbs. The pizza has a thin crust and fresh mozzerella. The chicken dishes were moist and tender. The pasta was to die for! I have been back several times and each time the food was fantastic and the service was attentive and efficient.
Pros: Fantastic home cooking, big portions, rock bottom prices
Cons: There was heck to pay on the exercise bike the next day!
