Fredos Pizza

I have been to hundreds of Italian restaurants in Connecticut plus I was raised on my Grandma from Sicily's home cooking and Fredos beats them all. All the food is home made with fresh ingredients and flavorful herbs. The pizza has a thin crust and fresh mozzerella. The chicken dishes were moist and tender. The pasta was to die for! I have been back several times and each time the food was fantastic and the service was attentive and efficient. The first time I went it was very good. The service was a bit slow and there was too many tables for one waitress to handle. I ordered my first pizza and the crust was nice and thin and the pizza was great. I just had my second pizza and it was horrible. The crust was thick and under cooked, there was way too much sauce and the cheese was way too much. I will not be ordering another pizza from Fredos! Back to Roma! Pros: Local more

From Alfredo's Restaurant a great Torrington restaurant ""Fredo's"" was created. Both restaurants have amazing customer service. I like the style of thin crust pizza and the way it is cooked. You can tell it is definitely cooked with care and time is taken to make sure things are done right which I wish could be said for many more pizza places. They also feature some of the best wings in Torrington and surrounding towns I have tried (and I have tried many). They also have low prices for the quality of they're food. I very highly reccomend Fredo's to someone who wants a great dinner. Pros: Great Food, Great Service, Awesome Value, Low Wait Time, Order Right Every Time Cons: Ambience is more of a sandwhich shop but still reccomended more
